batting bill bowl field fits gives hopes include looking open players
We are looking to include players who can bat, bowl and field and Hopes fits that bill perfectly. He gives us another all-round option, and can open the batting if required.
added bowlers choose fifth four gives looks offer pitch providing squad
Watson gives the squad added flexibility. We can choose to play two spinners if the pitch looks like it will offer them something, or we can play four bowlers with Watson providing a fifth option.
believe blend bowling coming covered decision easy experience fast full given happy injury length line pace quartet shoulder
The decision on the make-up of the fast bowling quartet was not an easy one, given that we are without McGrath. We wanted a blend of pace, youth, experience and line and length and believe we have all of these covered with our selection. Tait is coming back from a shoulder injury and he's bowling at full pace so we're happy that the injury isn't hampering his bowling.

bowlers crop depth dozen given grab half hand maybe opportunity pack
I think the depth is there but what we've got, I think, is a crop of four, five, maybe half a dozen bowlers all in the pack. We'd like to see one of those put their hand up and really come out of that pack and really grab that opportunity once it's given to them.
bowler fast fit given percent premier prior ready returns sensible squad status
Glenn's 100 percent fit and ready to go so it's sensible that he returns to the squad given his prior status as the premier fast bowler in the world,
consider fringe left logical peak player
He's been a fringe player for a long time. We consider that he's probably at his peak right now. He was the logical replacement for Damien once we left a batsman out of the squad.
believe bowling bright full future happy injury test
He's back bowling at full pace, so we're happy that the injury isn't hampering his bowling. We believe he has a bright future at Test level.
considered cricket great guess matthew months move past time
I guess the past 12 months for Matthew in one-day cricket, even by his own admission, hasn't been great for him. We considered that it was now time to move on and try something else,
consider cricket essential fields type
He's the type of cricketer that we consider is essential for one-day cricket. He bats, bowls, and fields very, very well,
