game step time
We're going into a game that they're going to be athletic. It's time for us to step up our play and get into games.
balance floor good helps key maybe means nice night order positions step
That helps us because who do (opponents) key on? With one person maybe not having a good night, that means the other have to step up. It's nice to have a balance out there on the floor on all positions where someone else will step up each night in order to get a win.
allowing four key point rebounds three
I think rebounding was the key point of the (Brookhaven) game. We didn't get key rebounds and we were allowing them two, three and sometimes four shots.
next year
Next year it will have a different look. It's going to be just as competitive next year.
game good inside miller tough weapons
Miller is a good player. She's a scorer, inside and out. They have a lot of weapons and that will be a tough game for us.
coach decided gave rick trying
UA decided to not have (a tournament) this year, so (Gahanna coach Rick Hauser) gave me a call. We're trying to play a competitive schedule, and this (tournament) is a real test.
begin games playing within
It's not how you begin but how you finish. We're playing a good, competitive schedule. There are really no cupcakes on our schedule, and all of those games were within our grasp.
allow cast contain defense good sneak supporting team
You try to contain her. You also can't allow the supporting cast to get their (points). We're going to try and play a good team defense and not allow that supporting cast to sneak up on us.
bring confidence far game good hopefully lace last league level order ready wins
It's good to get two wins as far as the girls' confidence level going into the last league game of the first round. Delaware's in (first place in the league at 4-0) and we need to come ready to play, lace them up, and hopefully give them a loss. We're going to have to bring our A game in order to that.
call care close finish games season slow stronger
We did get off to a slow start. I think we got stronger as the season went on. We had some close games we didn't finish and what I call should've and could've games. It was just the little things we didn't take care of.
behind finish growing program row says second teams year
I think we play in the most competitive division, and to finish behind the same two teams for the second year in a row says something about our program about how it's growing as a team that's going to compete.
