certain everybody gets guys injured means message people practice screw select sends tim treated wrong yelled
Everybody gets treated the same way -- if you screw up, you're going to get yelled at, and that means everybody from Tim Duncan to the guys on the injured reserve. That sends a message that it's all about doing things the right way around here. A lot of franchises don't practice that, unfortunately. They select certain people who can do no wrong and have certain people that can't do anything right.
horrible king knowing mall south spent street team time worst
The 76ers were the worst team in the league. Horrible top-to-bottom. Knowing I wouldn't be there long, I spent a lot of time on South Street and at King of Prussia Mall shopping.
great memphis
Memphis is growing. They have great BBQ and great live music.
city love southern
I love the restaurants. The city has a very Southern feel.
feeling fond lived memories
I have no fond memories of Charlotte. I lived out of the Hyatt by the arena. I wasn't feeling it.
against bruce commitment defense drive guys hate love man maryland playing raw rest tenacity turns understand
The guys at Maryland didn't know Bruce, and he was raw offensively. They were saying, 'Well, if he can be in the NBA, I know I can be in the NBA.' And I said, 'No, you don't understand what this man does.' He's got a commitment and a tenacity and a drive to not let you get anything cheap. A lot of guys use defense as a rest period. Bruce turns it up on defense. He expends more energy. It's who he is. It's the way he's wired. You love playing with him and you hate playing against him.
