I told them, this is the first race on the new track, whoever wins it gets the track record. Hopefully we break it every meet.
christmas great honor named obviously track
Obviously it's a great honor to have the track named after me, but it's great to have a track which you can go out and use every day. It really is like Christmas.
dark dreary lights
We did put the lights on. It was a dark and dreary day, but that made it a little more festive.
basically brings competition country good kids meet step
We'll be in the Oakland Country meet and the Milford regional, that basically is all new to us. Good competition brings out good performances, and our kids have responded pretty well in the past. Now they have to step up a little more.
kids lose run seniors spring
If you go on spring break, you just don't run for me, so we lose a lot of seniors that way. The seniors that we do have are the very dedicated. As a reward, I make them the captains, because they're always there. I have 11 captains, but that's not many for the kids we have on the team.
