Either I missed a shift or I hit the wrong button. The team thinks I hit the pit speed limiter instead of the overtake button. What can I say? People make mistakes.

I guess I'm going to have to do it all the time. When you win you find that extra strength. It's unbelievable. I tried to do (the push-ups) one-handed. I almost fell with my nose in the floor.
I have had bad days, and he capitalized a lot on them,
I was running for second. I knew how strong he was because he passed me twice.

She's doing her thing, and she's getting better, for sure. The next level is going to be a lot harder. I think to win a race, it's going to be really, really tough.
We made a couple of changes to the Team 7-Eleven car but it didn't quite work out for us either. We kept our same lap time. I was trying really hard, but I don't think we had enough to catch Briscoe. We might have caught Helio, but he was really fast. Now we have to make a good race car.
When you have a very good car, you can do a lot of pushups after the race. I'm not blaming it on the car. I think we definitely had a competitive car, but trying to keep up with those guys made it a very hard day. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough. I'm very tired for sure.
It's not like this is the first year it's been like this; it's been like that for 30 years,
For me, I'll take the competition. Those who kept saying we had the best engine, well, now it's all the same. So they have something to prove to us.
No matter what you do to prepare yourself for a road course, it's never enough. There's not a better workout.
It will be neat for both of us if it happens.
We're just working towards qualifying and trying to find the best setup for the Team 7-Eleven car.
