Tonight was a good test for us. They're a great, offensively skilled team and we held them for most of the game.

We're in a good place. A couple of times against good teams we had a third-period lead and we gave it up. We learned the lesson and put the pieces together.

We knew they were vulnerable, they had a tough loss the other night and we knew they had a new goalie. And with a team like that, you've got to jump on them early and that's what we did. We got the first goal and we just kept going from there.

He's the ultimate team guy. When he's not playing, he's the first guy cheering for us on the bench. What you kind of expect to do something and you don't get to do it, it's tough for you. He's been handling it great. He's a loose guy and he keeps you loose.

There's no doubt in here at all that come playoff time we are going to be fine. We have to put these last four, five games out of our mind and out of our psyche.

You don't critique a win. A couple of times we were a little disrupted in our our own end but that always happens when you're with a new partner.

Maybe if we crept in in the seventh or eighth spot, we'd be celebrating. But we know we can clinch the division. We're definitely not celebrating just getting in. That's easy right now.

This was huge. We didn't quit. We didn't sulk. We played great in the second half of the first period, and the second period was great. In the third, the work of the first two periods finally paid off.
