Tom Mutch is a former coach of the Boston College women's ice hockey team. In four years as head coach of the women's ice hockey program at Boston College, Mutch revitalized a lagging program. During the 2006-2007 season, Mutch led the Boston College Eagles to their first ever NCAA Frozen Four appearance. We overcommitted, pinching when we shouldn't have. Our third person was a little bit too low - they'd go right to our wing and our defense was caught pinching and that opened up the middle of the rink.

Both of our goaltenders have been playing well and we're protecting the net in front of them. But we still have to work on our transition game, turning our solid defense into more offense.

They really box it in. We try to get the puck down low and try and outnumber them down there and we couldn't even do that. We started getting pucks to the net and we didn't have bodies in front of the net, and that's a key.
