He probably would have been in the sectional finals. Before this season he had always been a leader on the team, and he was an excellent captain last season. He's a good student and a hard worker - a really good person, and he was good for Brewster.

Everyone wrestled well. I was very happy with our performance. We've been working hard as a team in practice and hopefully we'll continue to win matches.

Mike had a good year. He's still learning, and has room for improvement, but he has two years and he'll just get better. We're expecting him to do very well.

It definitely felt good to get a win. After the loss to Mahopac (see below), everybody did a great job overall. I saw a lot of improvement from Mahopac to the Nyack match.
couple happy kids learned progress stepped wrestlers
We have a very young team. I was happy with the progress of our young wrestlers. A couple of kids really stepped up, and some of our new wrestlers learned a lot and have a lot of potential. They'll get better and better.
