buck consistent matter spark
Buck was pretty much the spark of the day. Now it's just a matter of getting consistent at-bats.

You have to take the cerebral level out. The more you think, the more you get in your way sometimes. You can't do yourself in with your own mind.
ball hit
We hit the ball hard, but we hit it right at people.
balls call guys rule strikes
Obviously, there is some apprehension there because they've never umpired at the professional level. There are some rule differences, but they have to call balls and strikes and call guys out that are out. We just have to go with what we got.
believe league players stressed winning
We're here to make these players better all-around, and get them to the big league level. Winning is not stressed as much as development, but I believe winning is a by-product of what we teach.
people step vary
It could vary night-to-night. People have to step up and show they want that spot.
innings runs seem six
It didn't seem like he was having much too much trouble. Two runs in six innings isn't too bad.
personal
I think it's better for personal mind-set. It's nothing new. Everyone has been here before.
hitter start takes weeks
I don't think it takes much more than two weeks for a hitter to start getting into the groove.
good hits job
He's been doing a pretty good job at the plate. The good thing is he's getting hits with two strikes.
normal performance
He just didn't have it. It was not a normal performance for him.
rather rest
He won't be back for the rest of the year. I didn't see him do it, but he is inactive and not around anymore. I'd say he's inactive rather than suspended.
developed second third time ton work
He has done a ton of work and developed well in the time he's had. Before this season, he didn't have a second or third pitch.
board kept pitching ride starting track
We never got on track with our starting pitching or offensively. We never did get up on the board to ride the wave. We just kept paddling.
