both chance experience front gives knowledge racing reason run team trucks
His racing knowledge and experience is going to make our whole team better. It gives us a chance to have two trucks run at the front every week, have both of them in the championship hunt, and there's no reason that can't happen.
flag green loose needed ran truck
We needed long green flag runs. That's when our truck is always the best, and it was no different tonight, ... They started slipping and sliding. Skinner got loose one time, and I ran under him.
competition feels focused good guys nice teams ted
We know there are a lot of good teams gunning for the championship, but we are focused on our job. Its nice to know the competition feels that Ted and I are the guys to beat.
best both finishes finishing good mike move race second tires twice
I'm not too disappointed with finishing second to Mike twice in a row. In both races, Mike just had 'fresher' tires at the end. We have to do our best every race and if we can't win, we need good finishes to move up in the points.
knew looked mistake racing saw
Once I looked back and saw they were racing side-by-side, I knew all I had to do was not make a mistake and I'd be all right,
fourth lie row win
I'm not going to lie to you. It's disappointing not to win the fourth in a row and set the record.
cup experience gain guys kid mediocre run series team ton
It used to be a series where a young kid with a mediocre team could come in and run 20th and gain a ton of experience and knowledge. Now there are 25 Cup guys out there, and these young guys can't get in the race.
loose mark martin outside somebody truck
There was no way I could let Mark Martin get outside of me on that restart. My truck was so loose when somebody was out there. When he went inside, I said, 'Have at it.' That was what we needed.
mark martin outside
There was no way I could let Mark Martin get outside of me on that restart.
bottle
Right now, we've just got it going on, ... If we could bottle it, we could make millions.
carry crew hard momentum piece puzzle ran reason season
It's hard to carry that momentum over from one season to the next, very difficult. There's no one reason why we ran good. It's just about combinations - crew chief, driver, truck, crew - you've got to have every piece of the puzzle and we did. It just worked.
It was nerve-racking, but I'll take it. We were doing the right thing, making the right move.
