along careers far good mature playing three
We have some good memories, but it is what it is now, ... I think all three of us are mature enough and far enough along in our playing careers that I think we'll be OK.
games playoff
Obviously, playoff baseball, the games are always close,
behind good great guys played
It was fun. It was a good all around effort. The guys behind me played some great defense.
chance fun played
It was a lot of fun to go out there and give us a chance to win, ... We just went out and played playoff-type baseball.
game great guys played
It was an all-around effort. The guys played great baseball. We played the game right today.
anybody christ constant faith jesus knowing played sports steadily walk
It's been one of those things where anybody that's played a sport at the professional level, there's always a lot of challenges. And the one thing that's always been a constant for me is Jesus Christ and my faith - and just knowing that my walk with Christ is steadily going up.
believe braves cheer close encourage fans field goes players rough turn
Braves fans are one-of-a-kind. Your passion to win comes close to equaling that of the players that go out on the field each and every game. But when the team goes through rough patches, you're there to encourage and cheer and believe that things will turn around.
five hitting pitchers plays stomach
He's probably one of the better hitting pitchers out there. But he's still a pitcher. He plays only once every five days. It would have been better if it was a cleanup hitter. Then I'd be able to stomach it a little better.
mean player brave
One thing that I learned is this - once a Braves fan, always a Braves fan. No matter what. And as a player, that means more than you could understand.
play balls ive-learned
I've matured a lot as a pitcher. I understand what my strengths are. I've learned that I've got a great sinker, I get a lot of ground balls, and it's easy to get a ground-ball double play.
behind everybody hit pitches start tough turn
It was tough day. I didn't make my pitches and when I did they hit them. It's been a tough start for everybody but we have to put it behind us and turn it around.
ask bad happy keeping people question ridiculous season soft spot sucks
I've been keeping up with them, and it sucks for me, too. I still have a soft spot for all those guys, and I want them to win. People ask me if I'm happy they're having a bad season -- that's a ridiculous question to ask me.
gave gotten guys nails runs stepped
Farnsworth has been nails for us all year, but he gave up the runs tonight. Without him, we wouldn't have gotten here. All the other guys stepped up too.
anybody awesome boston everybody goes knows struggle tough
Everybody knows how awesome he was in St. Louis, and then he goes over to Boston, and Boston is a tough place to play. Anybody can go there and struggle their first year.
