bit command early exactly
It's not exactly how I wanted to get things going this year. Early on, my command wasn't exactly what I wanted it to be. It was a bit of a battle.
children fact feels half hour people recreation school system three
It just feels like home. I have three young children and from the school system to recreation to the people this is just a place that feels right. The fact that it's only an hour and a half from where I work, just made it perfect.
behind good great guys played
It was fun. It was a good all around effort. The guys behind me played some great defense.
chance fun played
It was a lot of fun to go out there and give us a chance to win, ... We just went out and played playoff-type baseball.
game great guys played
It was an all-around effort. The guys played great baseball. We played the game right today.
glad guy hardly hits tough
It's tough enough to come up with one big hit. For a guy -- especially a young guy -- to come up with big hits in back-to-back innings, you hardly ever see that. I'm glad I got to see it on our side.
last lessen main opening pitch whether work
I want to lessen his workload this year, whether it's pitch opening day or work after him, so he doesn't have to do what he did last year. That's the main goal.
backed bend games
They backed me up. One of those games that was all bend and no break.
pitch rough
It'll come around. We're just going through a little rough stretch. We know we can pitch better than we have.
best early harder honor represent team
It's an honor to represent your country, but as a pitcher, it's harder to be where you need to be that early in March. I have to put what's best for my team first.
call people phone
We're an out-patient service. We can't keep people overnight. But we'll get on the phone and call around, to Tulsa or Joplin if necessary, to find a place to take them.
baseball bring hard step
We've still got to go out there, play these out, play hard and try to bring some playoff-type baseball into the dugout. We need to step it up and bring some passion.
bring family folks medication member police prescribe released whether
We stabilize the folks police bring to us, whether it's by medication we prescribe or their own medication, so they can be released to a family member or go back to jail.
anybody christ constant faith jesus knowing played sports steadily walk
It's been one of those things where anybody that's played a sport at the professional level, there's always a lot of challenges. And the one thing that's always been a constant for me is Jesus Christ and my faith - and just knowing that my walk with Christ is steadily going up.
