good people work
We've got a lot of people to look at, and that's what you try to do in a scrimmage. We've got some things we need to work on, but we also did some good things.
ball control people played second
We played a lot of people and we have a lot of young kids. There were a lot of positives. We just didn't control the ball in the second half.
song people songwriters
Just like any songwriter, I love it when people sing my songs.
strong people hip-hop
The big change was reggae and hip-hop, which came along after Split Enz had started. When Bob Marley first visited New Zealand, he lit a fuse that is still burning very brightly. The Maori people particularly honor reggae music in a very big way. So there is a strong reggae scene and a strong hip-hop scene, especially among Samoans. There's still plenty of quirky stuff around. No one expects to make much money here, so it definitely does encourage an underground sense.
thinking people gone
I think quite a lot of people have a friendship or a love that's gone like that and it never quite reconciles properly.
might zealand
New Zealand might get a guernsey at some point.
eight pay took
It took us, from the formation of the band, eight years to pay our way properly.
against ball good moved ourselves preventing stopped team
You can't do that to yourself, especially against a good team like that. We moved the ball downfield, but stopped ourselves. We're preventing ourselves from getting where we want to be.
We didn't need to do it, we wanted to do it. It's not about what will make us money.
best passionate song theatre victoria wrote
It's not the best song I ever wrote but I'm passionate about the Victoria Theatre in Devonport.
bad happened turned
Even when bad things happened to them, it turned out good.
good looked night pick seemed speed
What looked good is that we seemed to pick up speed as the night went on.
ahead gave ourselves
We killed ourselves (with penalties). We could have been ahead more but we let them come back and once we gave up the lead, we couldn't answer. We let down our intensity, and that was probably the most disappointing thing.
both care friday kinda matured night point takes teams
We're kinda in the same boat. It probably will come down to who takes better care of the football. It'll come down to who's matured the most to this point in the season. Both teams will have a lot of first-time Friday night players.
