believes bench everybody jones kyle next percent promise
If we do make a breakdown, everybody on the bench believes 100 percent that Kyle Jones is going to make that save, and if he doesn't make that save, I can promise you that all believe that he will next time.
kyle type
That's the type of play that we need going down the stretch. I can't say enough about Kyle and how he bounced back.
kyle meant next pressure takes
Streaks are meant to be broken, and it had to come to an end. It takes the pressure off Kyle and takes the pressure off everybody, and we can just go out and play next week.
behind coming jones kyle matter proper puck seemed
You could see that it didn't matter who was coming at him. The puck was not going to get behind Kyle Jones (Saturday). He seemed to see everything clearly, and even when it was a scramble, he was in proper position.
continuing defensive falling good offensive seems solid
Everything seems to be falling in line. We are getting some solid play. We are continuing to get good offensive opportunities off good defensive play.
blowing bottom deserved game guys intensity puck urgency
Bottom line, I don't think we deserved this game tonight. I would say our puck urgency and our puck intensity was lacking. We had guys blowing pucks off way wide.
eight opposed playing region superior
I think had we disposed of Superior, it would've been eight (East Region teams) and two (West Region teams), then we would've been playing St. Olaf (12-9-5) on Saturday, as opposed to Superior (17-9-3).
ball certain commenting complex confidence created hard knock level locker monster room sooner
I think there is a certain confidence level in that locker room that's hard to understand. I think it's a little more complex than just commenting on it. They've created this monster that somebody's going to have to try and knock down sooner or later. They've got this ball rolling.
appear appears asserted boils dominant fact grabbed hold nobody run somebody stepped themselves though wide
It appears as though nobody has asserted themselves as the front-runner. Nobody has really stepped up and grabbed a hold of this thing yet. So, you look at the parity, one, and the fact that there doesn't appear to be a dominant team, two, it's wide open. Somebody is going to have to go on a run is what it boils down to.
change example turn
I thought we were just a little off all night, and that was just another example of that. When we thought we could turn this thing around and change the momentum, we weren't able to.
control course destiny imagine lost opportunity plain upset
I can't imagine that it will (end the season), but it's out of your control. That's the point. Would I be upset if we don't get a call? Of course I will. But we lost the opportunity to control our destiny when we lost this game, plain and simple.
best doubt facets fact higher large level playing potential time
We're playing well, yes; there's no doubt about it. Are we playing our best hockey? I don't think so. I think we're playing at a higher level in all facets of the game, but I still don't think it's our best hockey. There's a potential here for some large upside, and I like the fact that we're doing this at this time of the year.
people protect puck skate skilled stick team
We've always thought they were a very skilled team but they're even more skilled than people know. They skate really well, they swarm the puck, the protect they puck well. They all have exceptional puck skills, stick skills, and they compete.
keeps played plugging team though
The team has played so well defensively. Even though we're nicked up, (the defense) just keeps plugging away and doing its job.
