bird catch convinced drew funniest heck kids knew laugh playing
It was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. We still laugh about it and re-enact it. Drew can do a heck of an impersonation of the pheasant. I'm convinced the bird was just playing with them. I think he knew those two kids were never going to catch him.
doubles job mentally needed ready responsibility seniors younger
Our seniors at No. 1 doubles were ready to go. They were first off the court, and they didn't have any issues. Some of our younger kids, I don't think they were mentally as ready to play as they needed to be. I have to take responsibility for that. It's my job to get them ready to play.
afraid athletic both complement doubles glaring good hit neither pick players sit weaknesses
Carl is a good complement to that. Both are two of the more athletic players we have on the team. They have no glaring weaknesses that you can just pick on. Neither one is afraid to hit an overhead, and neither is afraid to go after a volley. That's what makes them a good No. 2 doubles team. They don't sit back and lob. They get after you.
cry help

fields
This was one of the toughest, if not the toughest, fields we've had.
