depends greens high land low spots top wind
The wind is blowing, swirling in the trees. On top of that, the greens are really inconsistent out there because the low spots are soft, the high spots are really firm. It depends on where you land it.

I felt like I putted well. The greens are a little bumpy out there, but you have to be careful not to run the putts by.

It's playing more like a U.S. Open than a Masters. Lately, the Masters has played soft and wet, with balls plugging in the fairways and picking up mud. That wasn't the case. It was quick and dry, and the greens are picking up speed.

It's certainly not the golf course when I was pretty young playing it. It's unbelievable how much they've changed the golf course. It used to be basically a clover field out here. The greens are unbelievable, perfectly smooth. It's just hard to believe what they've done here.

Anytime you have receptive greens and smooth greens and this morning, absolutely no wind, the guys are going to go low. That's not normally how this course plays. Usually you're trying to somehow fit a ball in there to some of these corners. (Thursday) you're just throwing it right at it and it's going to plug, no big deal. You know with these greens being this smooth, good putts go in.

I had to go for it and try to go for a birdie or, best part, eagle, ... Then he puts the ball on the green on 17 and it was over.

I had to put the ball on the green (17) and try to make a putt. I had a shot. I had to draw it a little bit and it didn't draw at all.

The greens were hard and the fairways were even harder. It made it so difficult to judge how far the ball was going to roll.

The greens have been receptive but now they're holding even better. Now, you have to be careful not to put too much spin on the ball, which isn't normal around here.
