Our 3,200 relay did awesome. Our coaches told us we have a chance to be better than we were last year, which is exciting. We weren't pushed at this meet, so I think we can go much faster.
It doesn't mean nothing happened. It just means nothing was left behind.
We're super-excited because it's like a miniature state meet. It's our home turf and we want to do well. As a team, it's probably not realistic to try to win, but I think we can do well in a lot of the individual events.
Kelly and I have been friends for a long time. We used to run on the 1,600 relay together here as freshmen, so it was fun to race with her for the first time.
