Every man can see things far off but is blind to what is near.
education wise teaching
A man though wise, should never be ashamed of learning more, and must unbend his mind.
sides fortune hearted
Fortune is not on the side of the faint-hearted.
work labor
Without labor nothing prospers.
strong weak-will causes
In a just cause the weak will beat the strong.
fool tales ifs
If to some my tale seems foolishness I am content that such could count me fool.
outrage righteousness
It is not righteousness to outrage
past born
Not to be born is, past all prizing, best.
beer vegetables bread
I recommend...bread, meat, vegetables, and beer.
believe people belief
What people believe prevails over the truth.
honesty honor succeed
Rather fail with honor than succeed by fraud.
