They made a great play at the end; it was definitely good. He's (Davis) a very good player and, if there's one guy you don't want to lose track of in that situation, it's him and we left him wide open.

We feel terrible about our guy on the last shot. He feels terrible, but we talked to him and we told him that it shouldn't have come down to that. To be honest, we feel sick about the game. It's a game where you feel like you just got kicked in the stomach.

That was the biggest shot of the game. That was a big momentum stopper there. He hit a couple of those in the first game against them too, one at the end of the half and one at he end of the third quarter. He took a couple of long ones that I questioned him about last game. Marcus was probably our team MVP tonight. He's really matured as a basketball player and just continues to get better. Obviously, that's something you like to see as a coach, and it helps build momentum for us as a basketball team.

Obviously, both teams are having very similar seasons. We've both lost a lot of close games. We are both at 'Heartbreak Hotel' all year. This was a super win for us.

It's a shame that we lost out on a chance to get the No. 3 seed in the tournament. They just made one more play than we did.

We didn't crack. I like our guys' attitude. They came back and were upbeat. Hopefully, we keep going. If we get the consistency we need, we'll be able to do it.

Coach (Hank) Murray has an Irish jig we do after a win and we haven't done it since the first game after the winter break. We were excited.

All those close losses, not able to let a big lead hold ... instead of folding, we finished strong. It's been tough on us, but I'm proud of them because they stayed positive. The kids deserve a lot of credit.
