Both of us are very, very encouraged by his progress. But he's still in very critical condition and he's still a long way from being out of the woods. I'm pretty delighted with what's going on, but I'm also still very concerned. He's a long way from being healthy. When they move him up to the surgical floor, I'll be feeling a lot better.

bothered case
In 25-years this case has bothered me more than any other case that I've had. I don't say that lightly.

We got our marching orders yesterday, so we marched up to the fifth floor. We're just elated that we got out of the ICU and got him up to his own room. He's doing extremely well. His voice is coming back.
remove scare
The scare is if they remove the steroids, it can return.

That was an impressive race - probably one of the best I've seen him run. He showed great patience on the far turn until he got an opening. He has tons of power ... he just needs room late. Give him any type of lane and he will take it and run.

Wildfire had a few bumps early on in 3/8 but once we figured out his recovery between races he's settled in and run a lot more consistent. This is his distance and he handles it very well. In 3/8, the field gets separated and gives talented dogs time to make moves.

Wildfire and Geraint have raced extremely well but I think their best is yet to come. We're a very young kennel and Kennan and Hayden Lee are just two of the pups giving us a boost.
