The timing is regrettable, I guess, because people are going to want to read into it, but there's no connection. We have to stay the course in football, get the stadium done, do the best job we can in recruiting. We've been successful before and it's been consistency that's been difficult. ... We've not given up on that dream.

We've been through tough football seasons before, and I think we just have to stay the course. We've not given up on the dream of being consistently successful. But it's difficult. We can't go out and get a bunch of junior college transfers. There are no shortcuts for us.
