bit expect maybe numbers playing season turned
I don't think he's turned it up at all. I think he's been playing that way for the longest, you know? Maybe his numbers are up a little bit but this is what he's been doing all season and you can expect the same thing (tonight).
easy floor natural points presents scores stuff
What he presents on the floor is unusual. He scores from so many different areas, points come easy to him; rebounds, points, all that stuff comes so easily, so natural to him. It's like no other.
crowd lead plays respond tied took whenever
Whenever they took the lead or tied it up and got the crowd into the game, we made some plays to put the crowd out of it. They would make another run, and we would respond again.
allowed feet jump key knew last minutes overtime played seemed slow start stuff
We knew they played that overtime game. We didn't play that many minutes last night. So the key for us was just to get out quickly, make some stuff happen. It seemed like they had slow feet from the start of the game, which allowed us to jump on them early.
defense happening offensive stops
We know what our capabilities are: to have our defense get some stops and try to get started on our offensive game, which wasn't happening for us.
basket drove easier everybody kicked knows rip slow taking
We really got off to a slow start, but once we got going, we started taking better shots. We drove to the basket a little bit, penetrated and kicked and made some plays. Everybody knows when Rip and Chauncey are making shots, it makes it easier for the other players.
amaze anybody capable
It doesn't amaze me. It doesn't amaze anybody on our team, because we know what he's capable of doing.
drive hope looks pick rhythm tonight tried
That was just pick your poison. What you want to do is just let him get his rhythm out 20, 22-feet out away from the basket, or make him drive and hope that we'll be there to help. I think tonight we just tried not to let him get any looks from the perimeter.
bell confused good guy job pick playing rip sat saw score screens switching
I thought Raja Bell did a good job of playing Rip a different way every time. You got a guy that can score off screens like Rip, you can't do the same thing every time. He'll pick you apart. They did a good job of switching things up. It kind of confused Rip for a minute. I think when he went and sat down and saw how he was playing defense, when he went back in there, he made some adjustments.
anxious easy fast free great missed normally word
I think we were anxious. Anxious is a great word for that. We missed some easy baskets, missed some free throws, made turnovers on the fast break, things like that, some things we normally don't do.
anxious easy free great missed normally settled word
I think anxious is a great word for that. We missed some easy baskets and some free throws...things we don't normally do. But once we settled down, we were fine.
We can always get what we think is necessary.
coming court played playing quickly whenever worried
We were just worried about coming out here and playing tonight. Whenever you play how we played in Utah, you just want to get up the court as quickly as possible.
It's very, very, very, very helpful. ... Delfino can get out there and get some confidence.
