hand
It is uncharacteristic on our part, but we do it every once in a while. It thought it was a little out of hand tonight.
coach hard year
It's not hard for me. It's only Year 4 for me, but this is coach No. 3.
guy shots
That's the guy you've got to watch. He's incredible. I can't even think of all the big shots he's made.
It's very, very, very, very helpful. ... Delfino can get out there and get some confidence.
ball battle defensive detroit knows san
Everyone knows that when San Antonio and Detroit play, it's going to be a battle on the defensive end. The thing that we wanted to do is really concentrate on rebounding the ball and not let them get second-chance opportunities.
bench easier great minutes starting successful
The bench has done a great job. They are starting to give us some successful minutes now and that's been making it easier for all of us.

advantage aggressive game harder home protect
Sunday's game is going to be a lot harder than Monday's game, because Sunday's game is at 12 o'clock. I don't think we've had one at 12 this year. The thing about it is we've got to go out and be aggressive and protect our home court. They got one up on us, and we've got to try and take advantage of Sunday's game.
last left picked seemed
It seemed like we just picked up where we left off last season. It didn't seem like a first game.
basket drove easier everybody kicked knows rip slow taking
We really got off to a slow start, but once we got going, we started taking better shots. We drove to the basket a little bit, penetrated and kicked and made some plays. Everybody knows when Rip and Chauncey are making shots, it makes it easier for the other players.
easy floor natural points presents scores stuff
What he presents on the floor is unusual. He scores from so many different areas, points come easy to him; rebounds, points, all that stuff comes so easily, so natural to him. It's like no other.
defense happening offensive stops
We know what our capabilities are: to have our defense get some stops and try to get started on our offensive game, which wasn't happening for us.
crowd lead plays respond tied took whenever
Whenever they took the lead or tied it up and got the crowd into the game, we made some plays to put the crowd out of it. They would make another run, and we would respond again.
