alabama build continuing fact focus good stanford stronger team teams top worry
It's a good thing our team is continuing to build right now. They're getting stronger and they're competitive with those top teams right now. So we just have to focus in on what we can do and worry about our performances and not really look at the fact that Alabama or Stanford is there.
athlete compete finish floor hard healthy home means opportunity ready season team
It means a lot as an athlete to have that opportunity to compete on your home floor at the end of the season. That's been something that we've really been working hard at getting our team ready and healthy enough for the end of the season so that we're able to finish up here in Corvallis.
few freshman quite routines
That's quite a few routines for a freshman class.
aggressive athletes
They're very powerful. That's part of their personalities, too. They really go after things. They're aggressive competitors and athletes all the way around.
aggressive amount athletes brought fight fighting hard moves team tremendous watch win younger
They're very aggressive athletes and very competitive. They want to go out there and they want to win and they fight for everything and I think that has brought a tremendous amount to our team because when you watch the younger ones fighting that hard for everything, I think it kind of moves on up the chain.
alabama focus performance stanford worry
We're going to focus on our own performance and not worry about what Stanford or Alabama is doing.
again assume expected gone outside practice spelling stay sure top
With a young group, I think you really stay on top of things and you don't assume they know anything. So we've gone back to that again this year, really spelling out everything for them, making sure they know all the ropes, ins and outs of what's expected of them in practice and outside of practice.
count fall fought hard national proud stayed surprising
I think that they went out there a little tight, but that's actually not surprising to me. This was their first national championship. I was really proud that they stayed on their feet. They didn't have to count a fall and they fought hard for things.
build came ended fought national proud season strong
I think that they're frustrated, but also I told them how I was proud of their season and how they came back and fought through things and really ended up pretty strong here at the end. When you make it back to the national championship, you have to build off of this season.
national single surprising tight trying
I think that when they went out they were a little tight because they were trying too hard. But that's actually not surprising to me in that every single one of them, this is the first national championships.
month nationals ncaa run
We'll run through a lot of things that we're going to do at nationals and find out if there are any glitches in the system. That way we can fine-tune. We'll have a month before the national championship and we can get everything in place before we actually run the NCAA Championship.
keeps performance tonight
Her performance tonight was spectacular. She just keeps getting better and better.
build country determined excited experience group says season teams together top
For them to come together and be able to be one of the top 12 teams in the country at the end of the season says a lot for such a young group and I'm really excited for the future. They're determined to take this experience and build off of it.
