create destined dream due felt flag obtain prepared pressure prove reasons saw sight
When we saw the flag going up, it was a sight we had not prepared for because we didn't want to create a dream we couldn't obtain due to reasons out of our control. We felt pressure from ourselves, to prove that we were destined to be here.
allowed attain create dream flag might moment ourselves saw
The moment we saw the flag rising, we hadn't allowed ourselves to imagine. We didn't want to create a dream that we couldn't attain because it might be out of our control.
allowed create definitely dream flag imagine moment obtain ourselves outside react reasons rising saw sight
The moment we saw the flag rising was one we hadn't allowed ourselves to even imagine because we didn't want to create a dream we couldn't obtain for reasons outside of our control. It was definitely a new sight for us to see and one we don't even know how we're going to react to when it comes to us.
allowed attain create dream hit moment ourselves quite
I think that moment was one we hadn't even allowed ourselves to imagine. We didn't want to create a dream we couldn't attain because of something out of our control. It hasn't really hit us, but when it does, it'll be quite overwhelming.
contain created energy itself team themselves within
The energy the U.S. team created within itself was really amazing. No one really could contain themselves anymore.

We felt we improved on our performance at nationals. This is an invaluable experience for us to sees how our elements will be (scored).
amazing happy icing result
To be here at all was an amazing experience. We were very happy with how we did, and to have the result that we did was just icing on the cake.
both canadian connected eye feels follow special
It feels very special to be a part of both countries. I follow the Canadian team, I keep an eye on how they're doing, so it does feel as if I'm connected to both teams, but as a skater, I'm American.
rather
We'd rather it be here than at the Olympics. So in that respect, it's good.
amazing everybody proud
I'm so excited, so proud of everybody -- it's an amazing group. We've all been through so much just to get here.
coming emotions fact fully medal performance worth
I don't think we've fully experienced all the emotions yet. This was the most challenging performance just because of the pressure. But coming away with the medal makes it all worth it. I know for a fact it won't take another 30 years (for the U.S to get another).
building definitely easy home judges lots olympics staying taking teams themselves
Lots of teams feel better staying at home and just taking it easy and building up themselves in training. But for us, it's definitely better to come here. These are the same international judges who will judge us at the Olympics and we want their feedback.
extremely meet nice spoke
She referenced that when she spoke with us, and she's extremely supportive. It was very, very nice to meet her.
few flawless three
Obviously, we could have done better. I had a few stumbles, but I wasn't anticipating to come here and have three flawless performances.
