I would like to have shot lower, but it was pretty trying out there. The wind was as strong as I've ever seen it. You just weren't going to see a low score.

Match play is a situation where you need to win your matches and be aggressive, and I think that's something that I'm trying to use this week as preparation.

When the wind blows like it did on the back nine today it can add at least three strokes to your round. There can be a fine line between looking brilliant and looking like an idiot. But Chad put the ball in very good places all day. He looked brilliant.

There needed be another dose of that throughout the years and there hadn't been. Winning now, twice, puts that emotional feeling at a higher level. Once is nice, twice certainly shows and proves to you that what you're doing works.

Anyone in here wants the story to be about them at the end of the day. We have not really had any typical Texas winds that would keep us away from flags, so you can still be reasonably aggressive.

I hit driver down No. 9. I didn't have the best lie and I didn't have maybe the best swing at it, but I hit it pretty good. I hit it like 150 yards and that was a two-iron. Sometimes you're just guessing how many clubs you think you need to add to the shot versus the yardage. That's really what it is, guessing the right amount of wind and hoping that you pull it off. It's not a science when it gets like that out there.

It was just a little bit easier to relax. I think winning once or twice proves to you that what you're doing works, and it can work more than once every blue moon.

I had to do something special coming in. I didn't do it, so I had to do it in the playoff. Winning the Mercedes is awesome. Winning three times is a dream come true.

I've watched tournaments where players had big victories and thought, 'I don't know how easy it would be or how crazy it would be. I felt comfortable and relaxed knowing there was no way I could mess up the tournament.

I've sort of had a rhythm -- a bit like the tide. I don't usually go in areas of tournaments where I haven't really played. Everybody's schedule generally is very easy to select. Mine is probably mapped out for the next three so six months pretty tight.
