bit communication country guys knowing players similar together unique whether worked
Every country's players play a similar style, every country is a little bit unique in how they play. I think those guys are really comfortable together on the ice. Whether it's just communication or just knowing the player a little bit better, I'm not sure, but it worked well with the Russians.
bit exciting expect hoping people surprised
A little bit surprised I guess, I don't really expect that. But I think when it all comes out - I don't know the whole story yet - but when it all comes out it won't be as exciting I think as a lot of people are hoping it's going to be.
bit gap open stock win
You can't much stock in one or two games. But if we're able to win these games, it will open the gap a little bit more.
bit enjoy fair played playing
I played with them a fair bit two years ago; I enjoy playing with them,
areas playing
We were playing collectively, I don't want to say our best, but very well in all areas of the game.
believe guys loved olympics step time
It was the right thing to do. I would've loved to play in the Olympics again, but I believe it's time for me to step aside. It's time to let other guys play.
continue overtime playing prefer tie
Personally, I'd prefer to continue playing the overtime after tie games.
everybody keeps saying
Everybody keeps saying it's great. It's not great. It's not hockey.
care keeping penalty playing power ready specific sure themselves wins
Concentrate on more specific things -- on playing well defensively, on keeping our goals-against down, on our penalty kill and power play. Concentrate on those and make sure we're sharp. The wins will take care of themselves and we'll be ready for the playoffs.
depth following game next people ready realized whether
We have a little more depth than people realized that we have. When I'm ready to play, I'll know whether that's the next game or the following game.
continue goal quick
That was kind of the goal and that comes pretty quickly. Things go pretty quick and you're there. Before you know it, you're 35 and you want to continue playing.
decision
I think I'll make a decision after the playoffs. Let's see how they go and go from there.
again enjoy fighting forward gets guys strong ways work
You know, I'm comfortable with it and in some ways I look forward to it, ... As much as I'd like to compete, it's difficult. It gets old. You're battling; guys are big and strong and fast. You're fighting time. So in some ways, when it's over, I'll have a sense of relief. It's a lot of work and I enjoy doing it, but again I look forward to when it's over as well.
happy hearing knowing past walking
Just knowing that I'm walking in there, not because of what I've done in the past but because they want me to be a part of it. Hearing that, I'm happy to be back.
