guys loaded missed three tried
That was the play we called; I just missed the shot. It was a play we tried to get going to the basket, but they had like two or three guys loaded up over there and all the guys were covered, so I put it up.
basket closer coming covering four guys three
The play was actually called for me coming closer to the basket but they had three or four guys covering it.
advantage fourth guys hands open takes
The ball's pretty much in his hands in the fourth quarter. And he takes advantage of the opportunities -- getting guys open or even getting his own shot.
guys prepared
It was bad. I thought we'd be more prepared and guys would come out and play harder.
brought far forward guys help looking next pieces reasons speculate team
As far as the future, I can't speculate on things like that. I'm looking forward to being one of the pieces here. That's one of the reasons why they brought me here, to be one of the guys to help the team get to the next level.
guy team total
It is not just one guy that can (turn things around). It has to be a total team effort.
ball guys missed normally shots took turned
Guys turned the ball over, and that kind of took us out of it. We had point-blank shots that we missed that we normally make.
early groove guys hard looked pick score
I just didn't get in a groove early and it was hard to pick it up. I thought I'd come in and score 70. It looked like everyone was lethargic. I put our guys in a bind.
generous gets guys line million single team tone tough
Their two guys went to the free-throw line a million times and that set the tone for the night. It's tough to play a team that gets every single call. Those guys got too many generous calls.
against compete guys help looking played themselves work
I just think when you have guys who've played ... things will work themselves out. We're not looking to try to compete against each other. I think we can help each other because we pretty much know each other's game.
foul guy hired sure
The guy is a hired cannon, and he's hired to score. So if you're going to foul him, you've got to be sure and foul him hard.
aspect guys prepared
I'm about to go cry. It was bad, man. I thought we'd be more prepared and guys would come out and play harder. They outplayed us in every aspect of the game.
games waiting guy
You don't wait 30 minutes before a game to tell a guy he's traded.
crucial errors game guess lack mental needed stops time victory
It was tough. We made a lot of mental errors at the end of the game that kind of solidified the victory for them. On the other hand, we didn't get stops when we really needed it. I guess it was a lack of communication. I'm not really sure. It was at a crucial time in the game.
