I tend not to put swimmers in three relays as we usually have a lot of flexibility being able to move the girls around. However, there were a lot of points to be gained in relays so Nicole really helped the team in sacrificing an individual event.

We're certainly not as strong as we have been the last few years on our girls team. But we're approaching this meet that we have just as good of a chance to win as anybody, and that goes the same for our boys.

It was the most exciting diving competition I can remember. She's been working on more risky dives and she really came through. She's just made so many improvements since she gave up gymnastics and we were all glad to see it pay off.

The boys seem to be peaking at the right time. They are coming on very strong as we wind down the season.

The boys competition I think is a lot more of a level playing field. And I think the fact that we won last year was just a tribute to the boys stepping up and racing. I don't think anybody thought we were going to win that.

This is the first year we've gone into the year with a significant loss as far as our top end. Last year I think they probably rode in with confidence. This year they're kind of looking over their shoulders a little bit.

This is the first time the boys have won a meet by more than 100 points. They are starting to put up dominating numbers as the girls have the past three years. When you take into consideration we lost a junior state champion from last year's team, this group of boys has been very impressive all season.
