I think the danger is you start to think the answer to playing together is finding a new partner. At this point, I don?t think that is the issue.

I?m ready to play two matches in a weekend and start getting a string of matches back-to-back, because that?s where you can really start to make some progress. You can play a match, adjust, and really start to build on some things.

We had those four singles matches out there where, other than No. 1 singles, any of them could have gone either way. The only point where I started to feel good was after we won the fourth point.

These matches are just so competitive. You look at all the 4-3 matches we have had, and I really think there is 50 or 60 teams in the country that could all win against each other at a given time.

The tennis team is kind of like a second family. We hang out together and live together, so we have to be close.

We'll certainly respect Oklahoma as a good team and a dangerous team. Their win against Nebraska was one of their best of the year.

I think they?re looking forward to going to California, maybe not just for the tennis but also to go to California for spring break.

We could have played her (Saturday), but we knew that we would need her against Oklahoma, so we did not want to risk anything.

Her opponent was good at luring Fernanda into making mistakes but wasn't good at winning points outright.
