We'll certainly respect Oklahoma as a good team and a dangerous team. Their win against Nebraska was one of their best of the year.

I think they?re looking forward to going to California, maybe not just for the tennis but also to go to California for spring break.

We could have played her (Saturday), but we knew that we would need her against Oklahoma, so we did not want to risk anything.

Her opponent was good at luring Fernanda into making mistakes but wasn't good at winning points outright.

Her maturity level has gotten a lot better. She is becoming easier to coach, as well.

I am really happy that we got through this weekend with two wins. It was important for us to keep any kind of NCAA (tournament) hopes alive and just to stay in the thick of the conference race.

She's really taken off. She improved because of a combination of things that she has been working really hard at.
