feet good grown guard power
I do think that's why Bru has a lot of good footwork today. He had guard footwork, and now he's kind of grown into those feet and become a power forward.
appreciate local media men taking
I appreciate that from the media standpoint, especially our local media. I think it would have really been taking away from what our young men are doing.
happiness happy pleased seniors
I couldn't be more happy or pleased for our seniors to go out this way.
anyone attention calling capacity coach control means missouri official people talked
I can't control that. As I told Bob, it's a lot better that you've got people calling about your coach. That means your coach is getting attention other places. That doesn't mean your coach is leaving. I never talked to anyone in an official capacity at Missouri or Indiana.
enjoy enjoyed glad last ncaa players sure
I'm glad we got a day for the players to enjoy what they did last weekend. We made sure they enjoyed it. But this (the NCAA tournament) is what you play for.
dive issues legal
I'm not going to dive into any legal issues with Pierre's situation,
believe changing coaching easy life people rules task teach win
I'm doing the things I believe in, and that's important. It's not always an easy task in a changing environment. Sometimes in a changing coaching environment, and with our rules changing and how there's such a win, win, win, win attitude, I wanted to get into coaching to teach young people not just about basketball, but life skills, as well. I feel like I've been able to do that.
mark plays second team
In the second half, we made the plays we had to make. That's been the mark of this team all year.
game rely
In a game like this, you really rely on your leadership.
both chicago coming everybody good job knew media met nice surprised teams top
I knew when we met in Chicago (for media day). I thought we were going to be pretty good because we're healthy, and I thought Michigan, with everybody coming back, they'd be one of the top teams in the league. Both of us have done a nice job at the midpoint. I'm not surprised at all.
credit exploited quickly second taking wind
You've got to give them credit for taking that wind out of us very quickly in the second half. They exploited us every way we could be exploited.
again beat beats chance control four hope somebody teams
These are four important games. The teams you play one time, you don't get another chance to play them again if they beat you. If you win, you control your own destiny. If you don't, you have to hope somebody else beats that team.
earned great happen healthy stay sure
This is a great start. They (players) have earned it. But there is a lot that can happen in February. We've got to make sure we stay healthy and keep getting better.
game great prep
This is a great prep game for us going into the game at Wisconsin.
