We've been trying to break the record all season. It's my senior year and it's a big deal to get up there on our record board. All of our records are so fast. Those names up there on the record board - we've known about them forever.

We're such a close team. I've been on this relay for four years. Our relays are all really the same this year. I think the best part about breaking the record is we all did it together.

I want her name up there with mine. We're hoping to break the 200 and 400 freestyle records and get her up there at least once.

I think we all knew it the second Carrie touched the wall. They were saying we had it. Then I looked at coach Harris' face. It was a different look. I had to ask did we get it.

I want to make sure it is good enough to keep my name up there for a while. I hope we can do this again after state and put a time up there which is really hard to beat.

I closed out my career on a positive note. Not only did I set two records this season, I also won three medals in state, including one in an individual event. I'm excited that I got to swim for such a successful program.
