ball extending goes great halftime helped lead momentum puts sean second smile starting stop throws
That was a great play! To be able to get a stop and then Sean throws the ball up and it goes in. We've got momentum going into halftime and it puts a smile on our face. I thought it helped us by starting the second half getting another lead and extending it.
aggressive careful created defense encouraged georgia guys halftime offense patience picked second transition
Georgia is a very aggressive team, and we had to be careful not to get out of our rhythm. At halftime I encouraged our guys to have more patience if the transition (opportunity) wasn't there. But our defense really picked up in the second half and created some offense for us.
good handling job tried
We tried to get after them defensively without Strawberry. McCray did a good job handling the pressure.
good handling job tried
We tried to get after them defensively without Strawberry, ... McCray did a good job handling the pressure.
break couple days game heart hungry job next sacrifices talked
We talked about how much the game hurt, but we don't want it to break their confidence. The next couple of days we have to find out how hungry we are. Are they going to make sacrifices and put their heart out there to get the job done?
continues knows support sure work
We will support him and he knows that. We will make sure that he continues to work hard.
defensive florida game good half held man pick second steven using
With Florida you have got to pick a poison. I thought in the second half by using man where there was more one-on-one coverage, Steven (Hill) really held his own. I thought he had a really good game on the defensive end.
few identified late players
We identified a few players late and we really feel like we got the player we wanted.
contagious dug lost ourselves streak winning
It would be a big boost. We lost the first two and dug ourselves a hole. Winning is contagious. We want to get on a contagious winning streak as we go down the stretch.
game goes last prepared rough start three win
The start is a key. We have to be prepared for a rough game that goes down to the last two or three possessions and find a way to win it.
fine line played pleased road
I've been really pleased with actually how we've played as a whole on the road. Now, it's just that fine line of getting that big road victory.
doubt hard last particular team wins
It would have been really hard to be 0-3 at this particular time, no doubt about it. They were tense. They wanted those last two wins and we didn't get them. But this team now, I think, will feel better about itself.
cut exactly push
We cut down those turnovers from the first half. Our second-half push was exactly what we needed.
came clock five great players seconds shot six time top
The thing that got them over the top was Rondo's penetration. Time after time, where the shot clock was winding down with five or six seconds to go, he came up with the play. That's what great players do.
