attack both hitters ninth stage
I always preach, attack the fastball. We set the stage in the ninth and both hitters got a 2-1 fastball.
bell hit perfect pitches tough
Bell makes two perfect pitches, pitches that are tough to hit in any league.
liked
Naturally, this wasn't the way we wanted to start. We would have liked to have put on a better show.
advantage bats good pitchers pitching time
I think pitchers always have the advantage this time of year. Our pitching has been outstanding, and it's good to get the bats going.
action forcing guys mistakes taking team
Our guys are forcing the action. They're making the other team make mistakes and taking advantage.
clubhouse given glad might prove saying
He wanted to prove something to us. He was saying 'You might have given up on us once but I'm going to show you.' We're glad to have him back, and he's going to be a big part of our team. He's an inspiration to our clubhouse chemistry, and I'm big on that.
knowing soon
Knowing him, he'll want to get in the lineup as soon as he can.
drought good last man red talent wings won

electric fan great indication rest summer support
It was an electric week. Great weather, great fan support ... if this is any indication of the rest of the season, it's going to be a summer to remember.
bulldog coach gone great guy pitching post
He's a guy who has gone to the post for me and Stu (Wings pitching coach Stu Cliburn ) many times in the past. He's a bulldog and a great competitor.
bit call calling develop guy longer saw umpire
I just told the first-base umpire that he made his call a little too quick. It was a close, bang-bang play, and we all saw that the call was not the right decision. I just told the guy to let the play develop a little bit longer before calling him out or safe.
add
That's where we'll put him every day. He's going to add a lot to this club.
credit explosive good guys team
That's impressive. All good things must come to an end, but what a credit to those guys out in the bullpen. That's an explosive team over there (Norfolk).
hours leave mind night
It's mind-boggling. I leave here at night and it's on my mind all hours of the morning. Who should play?
