basically guys hard harder work
We'll work hard at it. We've got to get better at it; we've got to work harder and get the right guys in there. It's all about basically coaching.
guy hard helped next
Jake really helped himself. He will be a guy who is hard to keep out of the lineup next fall.
hard precision slowing time
They were precision out there. They were very unselfish. We were having a hard time slowing them down.
creeping field forth fought game goes hard played position quarter
They played hard and fought their way back into the game. The game goes back and forth for two quarters, and they were kind of creeping back in the ballgame. We just have enough weapons, and we got some field position on turnovers there in the forth quarter to put the game away.
evaluate finish move players scheme
We will evaluate our scheme and evaluate some players. Some players can make a big move this week, and really finish strong.
couple good moved sound throughout
I thought the quarterbacks did a good job. Caleb, the first couple of drives, moved the team. Caleb was very sound throughout the spring.
couple damn football gave good momentum move proud proved stop wild
It got to be kind of a wild game. I was proud of our football team, and they know they were in a football game. We gave them everything they could handle. We're going to be a damn good football team, and we proved it out there. We can move it; we can stop it. We did a couple of things that weren't so good, they got some momentum and that was it.
coming credit football knew proved strong sure
Like they said in the old days, we got an old-fashioned butt-kicking. You have to give a lot of credit to Minnesota. We knew coming in they were a big, strong football team, and they sure proved it to us.
break couple damn early guys hit kids played sooner
I thought early on the kids played so damn hard. I thought we had confidence; guys were playing. You can't go out there all day. Sooner or later, they're going to break a couple on you, and they hit a couple at the end.
decent felt football
I felt like we got a lot of things done. I really feel we can be a decent football team.
block good guys starting strengths
I feel like we got what we wanted out of this. We're starting to see some real strengths and some real positives. The big thing we wanted was to see the guys block and tackle, and they did a pretty good job.
foreign offense players plays time
I don't think we were overconfident. Any time we play a foreign offense like we did, our players know we've got to make some plays and get them in third-and-8 (situations).
ball four likes normally pass rest series throw worry
He will come out and throw the ball four times in the first two series and he's not going to throw the rest of the game, ... So, we're going to let him throw his first four. And then, we'll worry about his halfback pass he likes to show off once a year. And then, he'll go back to what they normally do.
We started out a little sluggish, but they got with it. I thought they responded pretty well.
