although great hard high kids knew paid saw weekend wrestling
It was a great weekend. I had high expectations for these kids although I didn't tell them that. I knew what we wanted to do and what we could do. I saw a lot of hard wrestling this weekend and it paid off.
bite call came eat supposed wrestling
They went back to the hotel, got a bite to eat and were supposed to relax. They came back with funny-colored hair. I don't know what you'd call that color, strawberry blond, I guess. But that's all right. If they're wrestling well, let them have fun.
ability feet finals hesitant needs open wide wrestle
A lot of times, when you get into the finals you get hesitant and that's what he did. He didn't wrestle as wide open as he did during the year. With the ability he has on his feet he needs to open up.
attention expected feeling forward goal looking pay points season second team title win wrestle wrestling
They did what we expected them to do. We told them not to pay any attention to the team race, to just go out and wrestle for themselves. If they do that then the team points and the team title will go with it. This is the second season and they were looking forward to wrestling for themselves. They're feeling confident; they have a goal and if they wrestle mistake-free, we should win it.
came entire good kept pressure solid
Quentin wrestled a solid match. He came out and had some really good shots. He kept the pressure on Will the entire time.
boys good group healthy solid stay top wins
Right now, they are a group of boys that are solid top to bottom, we have no holes. So if we stay healthy to the end of the season, get some wins and stay aggressive, I think a lot of good things are to come.
good grant kids shots
Grant wrestled a good match. Those two kids are the same caliber; shots didn't come easy.
aggressive far grant guy laid motivated plan score wants
Grant is a competitor. He's very motivated to go as far as he can. He has a plan laid out. He's very aggressive and he doesn't want to keep it close, he wants to keep moving, score points, get the other guy out of position.
