It's nice to be competitive against these teams and we have been. Junction is a talented team at the top without as much depth as us. We're scrambling for consolation points while they get final points.

It's hard to predict what the other teams are going to do, we just have to continue to do the best we can do and work on fine-tuning things we need to work on. There are still quite a bit of balanced teams out there.

It was a tremendous performance this weekend. We really benefited from many things. We aren't a powerhouse and we pretty much are a team that's done everything on hard work.

I have the perspective of both sides, being a teacher at the high school and being a coach. The kids have to recognize that we aren't trying to make it exclusive or too hard, but it should not be a right to be a participant in athletics it should be a privilege that should occur after the academic side is taken care of.
