We came out, and we played like we knew we could play. Everybody responded well, and we came out and played like a mature team. Virginia Tech is good - they fight to the end of every game.

I think I've evolved because I'm more than just a shot blocker. I've been involved in those plays where I'm not just the last line of defense. I can also go in and get steals and play perimeter defense.

I thought it was an unnecessary foul, and that's why I kind of jumped back up like that. But that's part of the game, and you've got to fight through stuff like that.

We haven't had a close game in a while and we let up a bit. We weren't strong with the ball late. We gave them a turnover. We had to regroup and concentrate in the final minutes.
