I have had some setbacks in my training and I am not where I should be at this time. It was a hard decision to make but when I put on the Barbados uniform, I expect to do my best and give 100 per cent for my country.

There was some good and positive response from a few companies, individuals and my former school, Lodge, but I still haven't heard from the AAA (Amateur Athletics Association) about the Solidarity Fund.

But I really want to thank everyone who has assisted. I am really grateful and I would just put this setback behind me and hope that financially things would improve in the future.
