You are making Mike look like a genius. Hopefully, we can prove you right Sunday.
We took Seattle to a place it had never seen before. We've got a lot to be proud of.
He is really athletic and I think he will do well. He has to be in the right system and everybody has to be patient with him. He has a really good arm and can scramble, and he'll have to learn to do it at the pro level.
We have a lot of things to be proud of. We took Seattle to a place it's never been before.
I love my wife and she was knocked out, so I was cleaning at 2 o'clock this morning. It's just a fun time. I'm so proud of everybody in this organization right now. We have a true family atmosphere where everybody is doing whatever it takes for us to win and keep going. It's fun.
Everybody has an opinion. We decided in training camp we're not going to worry about what people say or what they do. We're going to play football. And at the end of the day, we're going to be proud of what we do.
I am proud of Mo and this whole team. I have been telling everybody for the last couple years that we were close to being a championship team, and I was proud of the guys this year for always accepting challenges. This was just another challenge. You lose a player, and guys just step up.
I don't live my life trying to prove anything. I set high goals for myself. I set high goals for my team, and as a group, we just try to achieve them. Contracts are contracts. They're just part of the business that's after football, but it has nothing to do with what we do on the field.
We love the fact we have one of the best records (15-3) in the NFL and people still think it is luck.
We don't care if we're overlooked or not overlooked, if we're picked to win or not picked to win. When you get to the playoffs, it's just about playing the game, looking at it for what it is, and trying to be ahead when the clock runs out.
This whole town is excited. They have been craving for something special since the beginning.
We've come a long way. It's taken five years to put this group together and we're happy where we are.
To be in that situation is just amazing.
We're just a team. Every week, somebody goes down and somebody steps up. We're willing to pick up our fallen brother. That's just how it is.
