Shaun Edward Alexanderis a former American football running back who played for the Seattle Seahawks and Washington Redskins of the National Football League. He played college football for the University of Alabama, and was drafted by the Seahawks 19th overall in the 2000 NFL Draft. In May 2011, he was inducted into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame. When we played the Redskins the first time, that's the thing that Mike finally let Matt take control of, change things for the better for our team. And our whole practice and schemes and what we called just changed after that day. ... It has made us a better football team just letting Matt have enough control.

It was an emotional roller coaster -- going from Christmas, then your aunt dies, and then all the stats come out and you might get all these records. I've been asked, 'How do you feel?' Tired. I'm really blessed we do have this week off where I can kind of grab a hold back to reality.
