Everybody would like to know where they stand and what the side is as early as possible, which helps everyone prepare,
At the moment we're still the best side in the world,
If we can keep this side together and the boys continue to play the way they have - and a couple of our young players start to make some runs - we'll be as good as anyone around.
There are two ways of looking at it, like a heavyweight title fight if Bangladesh beat Australia in a one-day game they'd be the best side in the world,
I wouldn't be prepared to say that. It would have been very nice to see Shane captain, and where he's had a chance to captain the side he's done very well.
If you're doing well it doesn't matter how old you are, ... There was all that stuff at the beginning of the series about how we wouldn't be able to stand up to back-to-back Tests. I'm the oldest in the side and I've done OK so that's rubbish.
They are basically now the second best side in the world and it takes a bit of time to adapt. It is different when you approach a series and suddenly your own expectations and everyone else's expectations are that you are going to win.
Even though we are the home side, the pressure will be on England. I can't remember how long it is since they reached the final of a leading tournament, so there will be so much expectation on them now.
At the moment my kids are the most important thing to me,
But once you do that it's a beautiful place to bat, the ball comes onto the bat nicely and the bounce is even.
There have been little tiny things where England have outplayed us, ... With 20 runs more, we might have won the last Test. And even at Old Trafford, if we had contained England to 25 fewer runs we probably would have won.
We've had a pretty good day, I think we're just slightly ahead,
If they start to get affected then everything will stop.
I don't know about a changing of the guard, but it might be time for changes,
