We did a nice job on 'D' the whole game. Then we dominated the boards in the second half, and that's how we were able to separate ourselves from them.

I've been saying we're a work in progress, and there's still improving to do. Hopefully we can keep getting better and get to where we want to be.

I am really proud of our guys. We got a lot of solid efforts.
basic best credit guys obviously player step stick
Obviously our guys know who a team's best player is, but they don't do anything differently. We just stick with our basic principles, and it's a credit to our guys that they can step up and get it done.
against half late lighting overcame stagnant though
The only thing disappointing was how stagnant we got late in the first half against their zone. We overcame it though - Millsap started lighting it up and that really got us going.
free hit throws
We really did everything well. We got some big stops, hit our free throws and executed on offense. We never really let them in.
battle good instead instilled reacting team
It was a battle of wills, and they instilled their will on us. We're not as good a team when we're reacting out there instead of dictating.
coming group hopefully huge kids
It's a young group with a lot of kids coming back. Hopefully they'll use this as a huge motivator.

We defended it in the first half, but we weren't as aggressive in the second, and that led to some drop downs and kick-outs that killed us.
This makes our season. A championship is always a big deal.
basketball game good late played team tough trading until
He really didn't get going until late in the game when we were just trading baskets. He is a good player. This was a tough basketball team we played and we had to play well to get a win.
