We couldn't put the ball in the basket. We had open looks, the shots just weren't falling. You can't win if you don't put the ball in the hole. That has been our problem all year.

I've been here before but none of these kids have. This team is already winners because of what they have accomplished this season.

Roosevelt's the most improved player on the team. He's so confident. Roosevelt comes to play. He's a big-time player now.

We played good defense. They only scored 45 points. But we couldn't shoot the ball. That's been our problem all year long. Defense gets you here but offense wins it for you.
believers bought coaching hard heck kids staff telling worked
It's something else to be here. These kids are believers and they have worked hard to get here. I have a heck of a coaching staff and these kids bought into what we were telling them.

They weren't real sure why we were doing all of that running but against (Christian) they saw that the running paid off. We threw in a press and they just got tired. I told the guys that was where the running paid off.
