At one point I was having a good run with Will Turner in the #2 car. We were fighting for sixth place and the lead pack was in sight. Knowing we had run quite a while under yellow, and with Will in my mirrors, I was pushing pretty hard. Unfortunately, the way we were crashing the curbs, one of my control arms gave out. When I entered turn one, I just couldn't hang on and Will was able to get by me. I did another lap, but then the car spun going into turn one. It was obvious my day was over so I got the car safely out of the way.

My main focus this year is to qualify better. Last year I could always race and finish really well. My qualifying position never put me in a spot where I could finish where I felt the team prepared the car to finish.

I went into 17 and it was one of those deals where the rear end starts leading the front around. What you do. After that I adjusted the brake bias and it was fine and I could settle down and make up positions.
