We had the game playing at our tempo and they tried to speed it up a bit. I think we expected it but we just didn't execute. It was like a totally different team in the second half than the one that played in the first half.

It was the type of game that came down to who makes the most mistakes. And we made the most mistakes.

We just fell apart. We stopped closing out on the shooters in the corner and they just killed us. It blew the game open. The guys just couldn't come back from that.

It got away from us again in the third quarter. All our games seem to be determined in the third quarter. We gotta do it for 40 minutes.
easier game plan thursday win
After this game on Thursday we have to get even better to go into the playoffs. It doesn't get any easier if you get in. But we have to take it one game at a time. Right now the game plan is to win on Thursday.

You could see the guys were tired out there. They were not mentally ready to play. And it's a game we could have won - that's the frustrating part.

We didn't play a perfect game, but we played well enough to get the win.

We had high hopes for this semester with the core nine guys that we had. But based on the academic situation, it forces me to create a whole new offensive and defensive team.
