games great happening happy learn surprising team win
It's surprising that's happening to them. They're probably happy it's happening to them right now, you know, so they can learn from it. But that's a great team and they're going to win a lot of games this year.
confidence knew knocked plenty shot
I knew I had plenty of time. I had confidence in the shot and I knocked it down.
knew
I knew he could do it. I know Quentin really well, and he doesn't want to lose.
chance loved
I like it a lot because you get a chance to give back to the fans. I know when I was a kid, I would have loved to go to something like this.
connecting great
Everyone is connecting out there. It's a great way to play.
grew help inner kids
I'm from the inner city, so being there was really special. Where I grew up we didn't have anything like this, so I had to go away. This place is going to help a lot of kids in Durham find their way.
lived walking within
I'm (from) down the hill, he's up the hill. He lived within walking distance.
I'll be teasing him all the way back to campus.
best game gets great
It was a great atmosphere, and it gets better every game but this one was one of the best ones we've had. It's like this every game and it gets better and better.
athletic team
That's as athletic a team as I've seen.
believed hit move oh strong
The turnovers kind of hit us at the end, but oh well, there's nothing you can do about it now. Every turnover was probably on a strong move that we believed in.
minds stop turned
We just turned up the heat. We put it in our minds that we were going to stop them, and that's what we did.
determined final knew maturity needed six stops talked
We just showed a lot of maturity down the stretch. We executed everything well in the final six minutes. We were determined not to fail. We talked about it in the huddle during timeouts. We knew we had to get some stops and make some big buckets, and that's what we did. We did it when we really needed to tonight.
coming confidence fortunate games gives lost team
We were fortunate we lost those two games because it put us in this (improved) mindset. This gives us the confidence that we can be the team we want to be coming into the (NCAA) tournament.
