Scott Sandelin
Scott Alan Sandelinis an American former professional ice hockey player. He is currently the head coach of the Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs men's ice hockey team. In 2011 he became the first coach in Bulldog history to lead them to a national title. We have seen glimpses of being a pretty decent team. But a lot of it is the sum of all parts. When they're together, we can be pretty good. When they're not, we get exposed.

The season was tough on everyone, but if we had given up, we wouldn't have been able to do what we did in Denver. The team pulled together and got a chance to play in the Final Five. It was a somewhat positive ending to a not-so-good second half of the season.

I thought Nate settled in after that goal and was OK. But it's another one of those games that you walk away from and the scoreboard says 4-0, and you know it's closer than that. It's been the story of our season.

We had our chances in the 5-on-3 to maybe get back in the game, but we missed the net. From that point on, Minnesota got the momentum. They seem like a very confident team with a lot of weapons and they don't get enough credit for how well they play defensively. We're at different ends of the spectrum right now.

I'd like to get rid of the first five minutes, but the next 35 I thought we played pretty well. It's tough to play catch-up hockey.

Our team has pulled closer together and maybe being in a desperate situation helped us. We've put the second half of the season behind us and our players now believe they can win instead of hoping they can win.
