guys offense pitchers season starters tone
I can't say enough about what our starters have done this series. Our pitchers have set the tone for us all season long. It does something for the offense when you know those guys are out there battling.
scratch start
There are a lot of things that went right for us this year. We start from scratch now.
wait
When you have a chance, you've got take it, you can't just wait around for something to happen. You've got to make it happen.
approach felt last loose prepare somewhat sure
It's up to me to go out and prepare myself, to make sure I get good, loose and hot. I think that was somewhat our approach (rest) last year. I felt pretty strong.
ball base difference hitting offense park score ways

behind depending hoping leg problems remains throwing
That remains to be seen, depending on who is throwing that day, depending on how the leg is feeling. I'm hoping not to have any problems once I get this thing behind me.
plate trying walked
I walked to the plate trying to get on base,
drive good pitch
It was a good pitch to hit, ... and I was able to drive it out.
base drive effort game great kept nice runners team
The big thing was to get runners on base and drive them in. We got a whole team effort and Jose Contreras pitched a great game and kept down their hitters. It's a nice way to start, so now we have to keep this up.
continue gaining hard matter percent point quite running strength time treatment
It wasn't real hard to make a decision. It's been nagging on me for quite some time now and it got to the point where I can't continue on. I have probably been running 60 to 70 percent so it's matter of getting in there and getting some treatment on it and gaining some strength back.
given hit home less run timing tough
It will be a tough home run to top, given the timing and when and where it happened. I don't hit too many home runs, no less a walk-off home run in the World Series.
felt further hoping treadmill work
That is what we are hoping for. I did some work on the treadmill (Wednesday) and it felt pretty good. We are a little further than we anticipated.
describe gone pitching staff starting tone words
Our pitching has set the tone for us from day one. They don't have words to describe what our starting staff has gone out and done this series.
